Google’s search engine, maps, e-mail, and other offerings have become an integral part of many lives. Marissa Mayer–Google’s vice president of local, maps, and location services–will visit Manhattan’s 92nd St. Y on Tuesday, March 27 at 8 p.m. as part of the Y’s Captains of Industry series. Josh Tyrangiel, Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s Editor, will moderate the session.

Mayer has been with the company since 1999 and is considered to have contributed greatly to both the look of Google’s homepage and to the development of Google Search and Gmail.
