Cold Fighting Smoothie | March 19, 2012

Cold Fighting Smoothie

Fight a cold with this refreshing smoothie blended with peaches, tropical fruits, ginger, and Koni Immunity Booster Tea! I like mine a little spicy so I add an extra teaspoon of ginger. Add more honey if you like it a little sweeter. I chose coconut milk because the flavor is delicious with the tropical fruits. Plus, coconut milk is super good for you! Turtle Mountain – So Delicious makes a good coconut milk and their almond milk would be great with this recipe as well.
Ingredients:

2 C chilled Koni Immunity Booster
1 C coconut milk or almond milk
1 Banana, frozen
2 C of … Read More »

3 Day Detox with Healthy Food- Day 1 | November 7, 2011

3 Day Detox with Healthy Food- Day 1

I love to eat so it is very important to cleanse my body a few times a year to remove the toxins. Plus I really like the way it makes me feel – light, happy, and clean! I’ve done the 10 day master cleanse and a juice and tea cleanse, but my favorite is a cleanse that includes healthy food. If you want to do the intense 10 day cleanse, where you stop eating for 10+ days, I recommend doing this first, then the juice and tea cleanse, then build up to the master cleanse. Your body will adjust so much … Read More »

How to Make the Perfect Cup of Tea

Have you ever bought a really nice bag of tea and it ended up tasting horrible? You can buy the most expensive tea, but if it is brewed wrong, you’re just wasting your money. The most important factors for making a great cup of tea are the volume of tea, steeping time, water temperature, and water quality.

Volume
