Silver, Pearls and Lace

I love to layer jewelry!  One of my favorite combinations mixes pearls and sterling silver.  I was recently introduced to two FABULOUS jewelry designers, both who sent me gorgeous sterling silver pieces.

Veronica Nunes is a native of native from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil  and currently resides in New York City. She was inspired to design this ring by the facets of NYC architecture.  The facets were designed to reflect the light in different directions, making the piece even more unique and glamorous.  Each of her pieces are handmade. Growing up, Detta Poster was always a crafty girl.  I remember my mother sending me to a neighborhood craft camp.  The cost was a whopping .75 for the day.  Yeah, she sent me A LOT!  I graduated onward and upward to my first big challenge… a belt made for my mom with cardboard discs covered in foil, string and lots of Elmer’s glue.   Truly a work of art (in the eyes of a seven year old).
