December 24, 1992, David Harwig, a Texas cowboy, sat in his living room.
His life was hard. David shoed and trained horses and worked his ranch. When time allowed, he entered calf-roping competitions with some success. It was a rough life. Although still a young man, David already had two hip replacements.
