Wednesday: Feeling Floral | April 18, 2012

Wednesday: Feeling Floral

Everything in bloom these days has me feeling floral. Too many prints at once can be a little much for me, but I like to get my floral in the form of lace, too. I take every chance I get to pull out these light colors and pretty fabrics while the weather stays nice. A denim jacket is a good, light-weight protector against the springtime breeze. You might want to check the weather report before rockingĀ  floral flats, but hopefully the sun stays out for you to show off this cute look.

Morning Ritual – For total body confidence, a detox program combining body brushing, exfoliation, detox body boosters and cleansing bathing rituals helps smooth away dead skin cells and stimulates the body to eliminate toxins. I used the ONO Super Mom sea salt body exfoliator and incorporated a hot and cold shower into my morning ritual. Take a normal shower then crank the heat to as hot as you can take it for a few seconds, then as cold as you can take it for a few seconds, then hot, then cold, then hot, then cold. End with whichever you feel … Read More »

Sipping on Lassi Juice | November 4, 2009

Sipping on Lassi Juice

A smoothie is one of my all time favorite drinks! It’s healthy, refreshing, and it definitely will fill you up. Well Jet Setters…a Lassi is basically a yogurt-based North Indian version of a smoothie and it’s oh so good! When my husband and I went to India, we were served one upon arrival and instantly became hooked.
My favorite one that I had was a Mango Lassi, and since we’ve been back I’ve made all different ones- mango, raspberry, strawberry, banana…you name it. And because it’s so easy to do, I wanted to share the recipe with you so that … Read More »
