LG fashion week – Gaudet

Yesterday afternoon marked the preview of “Gaudet” fall/winter collection 2010. Featured in the Allstream venue in Toronto, this show was surely something to see.

In a beautiful opening, there was a tribute made to the fallen Olympic hero and athlete Nodar Kumartishvili – singers and dancers from the athletes home land were performed. They were beautiful and true to the country’s roots.

Shortly after, Gaudet’s show began – what a beautiful show it was!

Toronto Fashion week begins with a Bang!

Tonight marked the official beginning of Toronto’s LG fashion week’s, “Power of Style”. Held in the Allstream venue – which is vastly larger than last years location – this year is sure to impress with it’s “Power of Style” theme.

As Christie and I ventured through the glamorous week of clothes and accessories, we stumbled upon a relatively new design house, Lizares. Both Christie and I had not seen their runway show before, but were excited to see what this Men’s Ready to Wear collection would entail.
