Breckenridge was FREEZING cold each morning during our trip. However, there was very little snow, very little wind and loads of bright sunshine. It was beautiful! Austin and I had trouble adjusting to the altitude, so our plan was to spend the day just wandering down Main Street at a leisurely pace.

We started the day by grabbing a quick breakfast at Cuppa Joe, who had the most amazing breakfast burritos EVER. It ended up we should have split one because they were huge. Unable to finish them, we asked for a box and enjoyed the rest the next morning. My Cafe Latte, with their signature latte art, melted away all the cold in my body. It was around 28 degrees when we began the day.
Lunch consisted of Bloody Mary’s, Sweet Potato Bisque and Hamburgers at the Blue River Bistro. The restaurant was quite crowded, which always speaks volumes. People were pointing across the room at each other’s dishes, including the couple sitting next to us who inquired about our order. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating as we had a very relaxing, enjoyable late afternoon meal.
