Take a trip around the world—from the beaches of Mexico, to the French City of Marseille. Rolando Santana brought the waves, open skies, and the magnificence of the reefs it contains to the runway at his show on Monday night. Sophisticated shapes and simple silhouettes graced the wrap-around runway. From the front row, the view of each piece was amazing. Each piece was detailed perfectly—transparent tops with dusty blue seashell embroidery, stone embellishments, coral fitted dresses with peplum detail, white silk lurex ruffle mini dress, bejeweled necklines and emerald green strappy dresses.
The color palette consisted of various shades of blue and emerald green, along with touches of coral. Santana was inspired by the tranquility and calm waters, as well as the waves of strength that are representative of the women that wear his designs. This season Rolando Santana is continuing his collaboration with Manolo Blahnik, which compliments his delicate, feminine collection. On the runway models flaunted the flat sandal and high heel stiletto that are Manolo Blahniks by Rolando Santana.
