New York, New York— Mauricio Alpizar opened up his fashion presentation with a bang this fashion week. Held at the Society of Illustrators in the Upper East Side, Alpizar had models strolling around the venue striking poses occasionally and showing off his designs. Some would walk around, while others stood tall on the platforms placed around the room. Guests mingled taking sips of drinks offered from the complimentary bar. The rooftop was a gorgeous setting for his spring creations—and it was the most perfect weather for the occasion.
Powder dust blues, blush pinks, and light corals with a bold navy blue all intertwined throughout the mosaic prints. The line consisted of loosely-draped sleeves and long flowing dresses, as well as shorter sundresses which grabbed the essence of a perfect spring day. The line was beautiful and unique—nostalgic of the 1920s fashionista.
