PinExt Trendy Tuesday: Primary Colors

Red, yellow, and blue: the primary colors we used to paint with in grade school are now the pops of color in every woman’s wardrobe. These three colors can brighten up any outfit, especially on a blank canvas of black or white.

A long unicolored skirt paired with a simple blouse or sweater can provide the perfect template for these primary colors to shine, without going overboard. The red ribbon belt gives the outfit some flirty flare and cinches the waist to give you an hourglass frame. The matching red shoes paired the long skirt will make you feel tall and slender, while the peep toe gives you the opportunity to show off that new pedicure!

Accessorize with this Marc Jacobs yellow purse and Judith Jack Aquarius ring, perfect for spring and summer wear. I love carrying a bright bag along- it’s such a simple and practical item to use when you don’t feel like dressing up or just want to wear neutrals. This outfit is perfect for a day of shopping, lunch with a friend, and any event where you want to show up clean, fresh, and chic.
