Need a quick, mouthwatering cake? This icebox cake is one of my favorites and it is so simple to make. It is especially delicious as a summertime cake. Alright, it is delicious as an any time cake! Of course, there are many different types of icebox cakes and many more ways to make the same one. Below is a quick, simple, and delectable icebox cake recipe that will sure make you popular with your family and friends. Or, if you already are popular, even more popular.
- 2 boxes of instant pudding
- 1 box of graham crackers
- 1 container of cool whip
- Make the pudding from the box (follow the instructions on the box unless you prefer to make your own pudding from scratch).
- Use a large rectangular pan and line the bottom with graham crackers followed by a layer of pudding. Keep alternating until you reach the top of the pan or run out of ingredients. A layer of pudding should be on top.
- Coat the top layer with cool whip. Put a plastic wrap over the top of the pan and place it in the refrigerator overnight until the pudding makes the graham crackers soft.
