Robert Verdi Hosts Lafayette 148 at Saks

As fashion week came to an end on Thursday, it went out with a bang at Saks Fifth Avenue’s celebration of their new Lafayette 148 shop on the 4th floor. To celebrate the new shop—what better way to kick it off than with a fashion show hosted by celebrity stylist and tastemaker, Robert Verdi. Robert spoke about each trend the models came out with; he explained how each piece can be worn and how to style it in different ways.

Glasses of wine and sparkling water were served with delicious hors d’oeuvres as the presentation continued. Robert Verdi has such a fun and enthusiastic personality which made it fun and interesting learning about each new piece. As the fashion show came to a conclusion, guests mingled browsing the collection and store. The clothing is beautifully made and excellent because you can mix and match many pieces; they have a classic look that is timeless. Everyone got an opportunity to speak with Robert and ask fashion advice as well as being personally styled by Robert Verdi himself. It was a great event with a beautiful collection!
