In partnership with Lancôme and the Style Coalition, I was chosen to participate in a short film series featuring some of the top Style & Beauty bloggers in the industry. I couldn’t wait to participate and worked with my incredible team to put together this video. Between Oklahoma storms and unusual record heat in May, we filmed in one of my favorite parts of Tulsa. The Brookside area is full of quaint shops, fabulous restaurants and art galleries. I consider it the mini-Soho of Tulsa.
To do this video, Lancôme sent me the Lancome’s Color Design 5 Pan palette in Coral Crush. This new, versatile palette of gorgeous coral shades conveniently creates a full eye look for day or night. I applied the shades in 5 simple steps (all over, lid, crease, highlighter and liner) to design my customized eye look you see in the film.
Drawing inspiration from the shops in Brookside and my love for the color coral, I set out to meeting my girlfriend for lunch and have fun with the film crew. We wandered through amazing boutiques and did some window shopping. Coral is such a hot color this spring that it was easy to find coral shades in accessories and apparel. It was such a gorgeous day and I felt so good to being out of the office.
Lancôme teamed up with 20 Style Coalition bloggers to produce films and share their own colorful points of view. You can find them all here. You can also keep on top of the House of Color campaign by following Lancôme on twitter, facebook and YouTube.

Coral is so flattering. The video makes me want to visit Tulsa! I’ve never been but the shops sound great. Cute video!
