Vogue Influencer Review Of L'Oréal Paris Youth Code

As a member of the Vogue Influencer Network for Vogue Magazine, I was offered the chance to receive the exclusive sample collection of the breakthrough anti-aging skincare line, L’Oréal Paris Youth Code. The package I received included one full size sample of the Youth Code Eye Cream, Serum Intense and Day/Night Cream.

As a Vogue Influencer, I’m always looking for what’s new and next and I was excited to hear about L’Oréal’s new product line. L’Oréal’s breakthrough GenActiv Technology increases the skin’s power of regeneration so it regains the qualities of young skin. As a woman in her 40′s, I was curious about their claim that the produces would produce smoother, youthfully luminous and rested skin. The large displays at the local drugstore along with their viral media campaign certainly had me thinking that this was the next new product line to experience.

Once I received the L’Oréal Paris Youth Code products, I used them according to the directions on the boxes. All the text is extremely clear and easy to understand. A recommended four step process is published on the side of each box. Step 1 in the L’Oréal Paris Youth Code is the use of the Cleanser and Toner. I did not have these products, so I used my regular cleanser and skipped to Step 2. This next step was to apply the L’Oréal Paris Youth Code Serum Intense. I found this to be my favorite of all the products. Reading the list of ingredients on the side of the box, I looked for the word acid. There I found the words Hydroxyeth-ylpiperazine Ethan Sulfonic Acid. Though I wasn’t quite sure how to pronounce this, I knew the power it had on my face. My face felt a sense of newness and intensity that I hadn’t felt since my last visit to the esthetician.

Step 3 was using the L’Oréal Paris Youth Code Eye Cream which came in a tube with a metal application tip. The cool feeling of this tip was part of the key to reducing the puffiness under my eyes. Step 4 was to apply the L’Oréal Paris Youth Code Day/Night Cream. The box also suggested the SPF 30 Day Lotion in the morning as an alternative to using just the Day/Night Cream. I found this cream to be soothing to my extremely dry skin and not sticky. It did not weigh heavy on my skin nor make me feel as if I needed to reapply mid-day.

As I examined my face in the mirror after using the products for several days, I can’t say that I visibly noticed a difference in its appearance. I can say, however, that my face did feel firmer, my pores seemed less noticeable and I was happy with the moisture it was giving me. I think L’Oréal Paris Youth Code is a product line that will produce results after continuous use. It claims dramatic results on its packaging immediately, within 1 week and within 1 month. I’m looking forward to the signs of stress and fatigue being visibly diminished and my eyes looking rested and more luminous.
