No one likes an attention seeker. They’re always going out of the way to be noticed, whether it’s through their behavior, their words, or their over the top wardrobe. Lady Gaga, of course, is an exception to this statement. What women fail to realize is the subtle ways we tend to seek attention from men we’re interested in. Women will complain daily about their lack of time spent, will engage in social network subliminal wars with other women their partner is involved with, and will even begin to talk and dress in ways that will get attention from guys. All the while, they’re not realizing that these are behaviors that create the opposite of the desired effect. A man will back away from an attention seeking woman because they are showing that they’re too needy, and somewhat full of drama, which is something guys hate the most.
If you find yourself begging in so many ways for a man’s attention, it’s time to step back and evaluate why. If a guy is interested, he’ll make time for you no matter how busy his schedule is. Sometimes if a woman were to step back and engage herself in other activities, the guy would come around more, seeking her attention and time. Guys like women that have a life outside of them. They like to know that they won’t be smothered if they decide to get serious with you. Sometimes all it takes is for a woman to stop seeking his attention and give him a chance to actually seek hers, as it should be. Let him be the man in the situation. It will help in the long run.
