Being that I’m a bit of a self proclaimed bookworm, it’s only proper that I tell you about some delicious books that I run into every now and then.
Having recently watched, “Coco Avant Chanel” not to long ago, I was inspired to pick up a book about her and learn more. “Chanel: a woman of her own” by Axel Madison is what I ended up with. The book itself was extremely detailed. Detailing accounts from her early years in the orphanage, this book clearly outlines the history, love affairs, and details about how Gabrielle Chanel became the woman that we all know as “Coco” worldwide.
What I found most surprisingly is how differently Coco is depicted in the movie. The story in the recent film isn’t even close to accurate!
For any Chanel lovers out there (and I know there are quite a few), this book is simply a must read. It’s fabulous.
Have you read it? What do you think?
