MarketMommy.com celebrated its first birthday this summer. The site’s first year has been full of exciting involvement and expansion.  Founder Dawn Berryman understands first-hand the struggles moms face when starting and marketing a small, online business.  Being a mom business owner since 2006, Dawn has taken her passion and built a successful website to help mom-entrepreneurs.

Market Mommy started out as a way to help moms learn how and where to market their businesses. Soon after the main website was launched, along came Market Mommy:: The Blog. This summer, as part of the site’s first birthday, a site redesign was launched that incorporated The Blog into the main website.

There are several free marketing opportunities offered by Market Mommy. The site features a free business directory where moms can list their businesses in one of several categories. The Blog offers free Mommy Monday features where moms can learn about other moms in business and how they make it all work. In addition, The Blog and free e-newsletter offer a great deal of marketing advice and tips to mom entrepreneurs.

As part of the recent site expansion and redesign, Market Mommy reorganized their partnership and advertising opportunities. There are great options available for business owners as well as publishers looking to attract more advertisers.

Market Mommy offers five different categories where publishers can list their website, blog or media outlet. The concept is to link advertisers with potential advertising opportunities.

One of the reasons that moms often struggle when it comes to marketing is because of their lack of budget. Market Mommy aims to help moms market themselves with limited resources. The site offers low-cost advertising, marketing and printing services for moms on a budget.
