Promise Me (September 2010, Crown Archetype) is the memoir of Nancy G. Brinker, founder and CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The book details how Brinker launched the organization after her sister, Susan G. Komen, lost her struggle with cancer thirty years ago. In August 2009, President Obama awarded Brinker the Presidential Medal of Freedom in recognition of her achievements.
