Chic Galleria magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Beth Anderson, will be participating in the Society Stylist’s “Little Black Dress Experiment” Tours America – 31 bloggers from across the United States have been selected to style their own Ann Taylor little black dress (Stretch Cotton Shirred Shirtdress). The 31 bloggers are challenged to break the rules of traditional fashion and put their individual stamp on their little black dress utilizing accessories and trend pieces to create different many unique looks. Through the utilization of accessories, classic staples— such as the little black dress— become a canvas for a look rather than the statement pieces themselves

The 31 bloggers will each receive their own Ann Taylor little black dress and be assigned a day in August to feature their favorite look. Every day, during the month of August, at 12:01AM Society Stylist (www.societystylist.com) will post the look of the day with photos, video, insight and styling inspiration.

Beyond the Ann Taylor little black dress, bloggers will be provided gifts from additional sponsors including the coveted Medium Leather Satchel from the rising cult brand Saddleback Leather, a pair of women’s Street Lo’s from Heely’s, scarves from Donni Charm, daytime moisturizer from Hard Night Good Morning, shape wear from Spanx and the newly released Tahitian Jelly Bean from MICHELE Watches. The bloggers are encouraged to include their gifted items in their “Little Black Dress Experiment” Tours America blog or review the products separately during the month of August.

Followers of Society Stylist’s “Little Black Dress Experiment” Tours America are encouraged to be a part of the tour themselves. To participate followers can photograph themselves with the downloadable “Little Black Dress Experiment” Tours America logo sign in their town, in their own styled little black dress and post it on the blog (www.SocietyStylist.com) with their accessorizing tips. On September 1, 2010 at 12 Noon, a winner will be selected by random drawing.  The winner will receive their own Ann Taylor little black dress, the coveted Medium Leather Satchel from the rising cult brand Saddleback Leather, a pair of Street Lo Heelys, a Donni Charm scarf, shape wear from Spanx, Facial Cocktail Serum from Hard Night Good Morning and the newly released Tahitian Jelly Bean watch from MICHELE.
