Here are a few of the makeup trends I am noticing for the holidays!
Bronzed eyes: It’s all about a rich bronze this season. This great color looks great on just about anyone, while still managing to create a fun, interesting look. For a bold finish, try wetting your brush before applying your loose powder shadow. It will give a beautiful “foiled” finish!
Golden glow: In keeping with the metallic theme, the bold gold trend is going strong, also. A must have for every woman is a beautiful gold shadow. CDB has a great perfect gold color that is especially great for darker skin tones (www.christopherdrummond.com). Golds, bronzes and metals look good on everyone, so don’t hesitate to pick one up. It is also timeless, so it won’t go out of style next season.
Wear Color: Play with color, but not TOO much. The trend from last season of heavy color is Passe. However, the trend to wear light muted colors lingers on…..For our latest collection, we chose rich gem-inspired tones (purple and emerald) to support the trend for the season. These colors are more sexy, and best worn in moderation, so you don’t look like you are on “color overload”. A little goes a long way!!!
Shimmer: Having a shimmery glow is always big for the holidays. Just don’t overdo it. You shouldn’t look like you took a shimmer shower. Apply shimmer like Saude Pele Radiance Booster on your cheekbones, nose and eyes, and you will look dazzling, while still being age appropriate.
