From the Catwalk to the Drawing Board

It seems that once you become famous for one thing, you need to be famous for everything. There are some celebrities who really shouldn’t quit their day job, while others may have missed their true calling the first time. Of course, there are the lucky few who are just amazing at everything. For instance, someone like Claudia Schiffer. After twenty years of walking the runway, Claudia Schiffer is finally ready to move onto another aspect of the industry.

Claudia Schiffer has decided she’s ready to create a collection under her own name. Now while most celebrities-turned designers seem to focus all their attention on highly priced evening gowns, Claudia is designing a daytime line with affordable prices.

There are many female celebrities, who shall remain nameless, that have tried designing their own line and let’s just say that they didn’t quite measure up. But I believe in Claudia Schiffer! If her personal style is any reflection of what her line will be like then we are definitely in for a real treat.

“I would love to create my own lines now. I want the brand to be timeless and classic, with a fashion sensibility. I would love to do cashmere, it is something I wear all the time myself…I would love to do something that is a bit more price friendly and… a lot of cashmere is very classic, I would like to create something that is a bit more fashion,” said Claudia at a luxury conference in Berlin.

Nothing is under way yet as she is currently looking for a business partner – but don’t worry, it’s only a matter of time.
